Home Is Where The Murder Is

In this podcast, we discuss murders that specifically happened in homes. We not only cover the murder, victim, suspects, and everything in between, but we also discuss what happened to the home and it’s value after the murder. It’s very interesting to see how many homes have seen a murder.

Episode 1:
Johanna Balsewicz’s tragic murder in 1997 led to her husband’s 80‑year sentence. In 2022, after 24 years served, his parole was initially granted—but revoked after a public and legal campaign led by the family, Gov. Evers, and a judge. The case has since driven significant proposed reforms to Wisconsin’s parole process under the banner of “Johanna’s Law.”
